**Setup OpenAI platform account:**

Step 1: Go to <https://platform.openai.com/> and **Login** or **Signup** a new account.

Step 2: If you **Signup** for a new account just enter your details to continue.

Step 3: Enter your phone number and Send a confirmation code via **WhatsApp** or **SMS** to verify your phone number.

Step 4: Select the **Manage account** option to continue.

Step 5: Add payment details for Open AI billing, Select the Billing (Overview) menu option and Select the **Add Payment details** button to continue.

Step 6: Select your business type **Individual** or **Company.**

Step 7: Then add your payment details (Fill in all the details below showing the form) and select the **Continue** button to complete payment details.

Step 8: Then select the View API key option to continue.

Step 9: Select the **Create New secret key** button, Enter the key name (eg. Whautomate), Select the Create Secret key button and **Copy the API key**

Step 10: Login to the Whautomate platform then select the Integrations menu option, and select **Open AI Connect** button.

Step 11: Paste the **API Secret Key**, and select the **Save** button to complete the Open AI integration setup.
