# Email/SMS Sender Configuration

## SMS Configuration

Please use this setting to use your own brand for outgoing SMS. There may be restrictions based on where you are residing. Please reach out to our support if you need any help.

**Step 1:** Go to the **Whautomate app,** select the **Settings** menu option, and Select the **Email/SMS Sender Configuration** option under the **Branding** section to continue.

**Step 2:** Select the **Edit SMS Sender** button to update your **Sender ID** and **SMS Footer 👇**

**India:** \ <mark style="background-color:yellow;">To send SMS in India, you need to register your SMS Sender ID and message templates with DLT. After you submit your request, we will help you complete the registration process. Contact our support team if you need help.</mark>

**Singapore:** \ <mark style="background-color:yellow;">To send SMS in Singapore, you need to register your SMS Sender ID with IMDA. After you submit your request, we will help you complete the registration process. Contact our support team if you need help.</mark>

**Other countries:** \ <mark style="background-color:yellow;">If you need help sending SMS to other countries, please contact our support team.</mark> &#x20;

## Email Configuration

**Step 1:** Go to the **Whautomate app,** select the **Settings** menu option, and Select the **Email/SMS Sender Configuration** option under the **Branding** section to continue.

**Step 2:** Scroll down you will see the Email Configuration section and select the **Add Custom Domain** button.

**Step 3:** Add New Domain 👇

(i) Enter your business **Domain name** eg. mg.wellnezzstudio.com&#x20;

(ii) Enter your business **Sender email** eg. <hello@wellnezzstudio.com>

This is the email address from which the emails will be sent.&#x20;

<mark style="background-color:yellow;">Note: We recommend using a subdomain, like "</mark><mark style="background-color:yellow;">**mg.wellnezzstudio.com**</mark><mark style="background-color:yellow;">". Using a subdomain you will be able to send emails from your root domain e.g. "</mark><mark style="background-color:yellow;">**<hello@wellnezzstudio.com>**</mark><mark style="background-color:yellow;">".</mark>

<mark style="background-color:yellow;">Only add domains you own. You will need to update your DNS records to verify that you are an authorized sender for this domain.</mark>

Once you entered your business domain name and Sender email. Please select the **Add Domain** button

**Step 4:** Verify DNS Settings

Please follow the instructions and complete adding the DNS records before you verify your domain. Please reach out to our support if you need any help.

1. **Go to your DNS Provider 👇**<br>

   Go to the DNS provider that you use to manage mg.wellnezzstudio.com and add the following DNS records

2. **Add your DNS records for sending**\
   Copy the **HostName** and **Value** and add it to your DNS records. Ensure that you input them as **TXT** records. 👇

3. Once you added the DNS record. Select the **Verify DNS Settings** button to complete the configuration. 👇

<mark style="background-color:yellow;">**Note:**</mark> <mark style="background-color:yellow;"></mark><mark style="background-color:yellow;">Once you make the above DNS changes it can take 24-48hrs for those changes to propagate. The system will start using the email once your domain is verified.</mark>
