Email/SMS Sender Configuration

Follow our guide to connect your custom domain to Whautomate for outgoing emails and your branded Sender ID for outgoing SMS.

SMS Configuration

Please use this setting to use your own brand for outgoing SMS. There may be restrictions based on where you are residing. Please reach out to our support if you need any help.

Step 1: Go to the Whautomate app, select the Settings menu option, and Select the Email/SMS Sender Configuration option under the Branding section to continue.

Step 2: Select the Edit SMS Sender button to update your Sender ID and SMS Footer 👇

India: To send SMS in India, you need to register your SMS Sender ID and message templates with DLT. After you submit your request, we will help you complete the registration process. Contact our support team if you need help.

Singapore: To send SMS in Singapore, you need to register your SMS Sender ID with IMDA. After you submit your request, we will help you complete the registration process. Contact our support team if you need help.

Other countries: If you need help sending SMS to other countries, please contact our support team.

Email Configuration

Step 1: Go to the Whautomate app, select the Settings menu option, and Select the Email/SMS Sender Configuration option under the Branding section to continue.

Step 2: Scroll down you will see the Email Configuration section and select the Add Custom Domain button.

Step 3: Add New Domain 👇

(i) Enter your business Domain name eg. mg.wellnezzstudio.com

(ii) Enter your business Sender email eg. hello@wellnezzstudio.com

This is the email address from which the emails will be sent.

Note: We recommend using a subdomain, like "mg.wellnezzstudio.com". Using a subdomain you will be able to send emails from your root domain e.g. "hello@wellnezzstudio.com".

Only add domains you own. You will need to update your DNS records to verify that you are an authorized sender for this domain.

Once you entered your business domain name and Sender email. Please select the Add Domain button

Step 4: Verify DNS Settings

Please follow the instructions and complete adding the DNS records before you verify your domain. Please reach out to our support if you need any help.

  1. Go to your DNS Provider 👇

    Go to the DNS provider that you use to manage mg.wellnezzstudio.com and add the following DNS records

  1. Add your DNS records for sending Copy the HostName and Value and add it to your DNS records. Ensure that you input them as TXT records. 👇

  1. Once you added the DNS record. Select the Verify DNS Settings button to complete the configuration. 👇

Note: Once you make the above DNS changes it can take 24-48hrs for those changes to propagate. The system will start using the email once your domain is verified.
