Step 1: Go to the Communication menu
Step 2: Select the Automations menu option
Step 3: Click the Add Rule button
Step 4: Select the Create rule from Scratch option
Step 5: Enter the Automation Rule Name for reference and select the category as Customer Experience. Since it relates to customer experience, it will be added under that category
Step 6: Select the Trigger When a Client is Created
Step 7: Click the Add Condition button and select the option given in the picture below. Please note that the condition filters the new clients to execute this rule. For Example, a New Lead tag is added whenever a new client is created in Whautomate
Step 8: Select the Action and click Send a WhatsApp template message
Step 9: Click on the Message Template and select the template that is created for the Drip sequences or click Create a New Template. Please note that create a set of message templates for the drip sequence before setup
For example, I selected a welcome message template with a header image and entered the required parameter values. I used a client variable, so the message will be delivered with the client’s name included.
Step 10: Click the Add Action button and select the action Add Client tag. Adding another action to make a chain loop for the next drip sequences
Step 11: Click the Add Wait Time button, set the wait time to 1 day, and then select the tag that will be added after 1 day. Here I have selected the Follow up tag
Step 12: Click the Save button to save this rule
Step 1: Click the Add Rule Button
Step 2: Select the Create rule from Scratch option
Step 3: Enter the Automation Rule Name for reference and select Customer Experience as the category. Since it relates to customer experience, it will be categorized and maintained under a single category
Step 4: Select the Trigger When a Client is added to a Tag
Step 5: Click the Add Condition button and select the option as given in the picture below. Here we check whether the Follow up tag is added after a day and whether the client is not Unsubscribed from the drip sequence
Note: The "Marketing Opt-Out" is an automation template available in the automation list. If a client no longer wants to receive marketing-related messages from a business, they can reply with ‘Stop’ to unsubscribe. An ‘Unsubscribed’ tag is then added to filter that client out from drip campaigns and broadcasts by applying a related condition to it. This rule can be easily installed from the automation templates.
Step 6: Select the Action and click Send a WhatsApp template message
Step 7: Click on the Message Template. Select the template that is created for the second-day Drip sequence and enter all the required details
Step 8: Click the Add Action button and select the action Add Client tag. Adding another action to make a chain loop for the next drip sequences. This loop continues until how many sequences are needed for the drip campaign
Step 9: Click the Add Wait Time button, set the wait time to 2 days, and then select the tag that will be added after 2 days from the execution of this rule. Here I have selected the Follow up 2 tag.
Step 10: Remove the previously added tag to identify the current sequence the client is in by adding another Action and selecting Remove Client Tags. Choose the previously added Follow up tag in the rule
Step 11: Click the Save button to save this rule and select the Customer Experiences icon to view the list of added drip campaign rules
Note: Please note that this sequence will determine the number of days messages will be sent to the client. Choose as many days as needed and create rules accordingly. A tag-based chain loop will specify which day the client is on.
