First, ensure your Instagram account is linked to your business’s Facebook Page. If it isn’t, follow the steps below to connect it.
Go to Facebook Page Settings > Select the Linked account menu option > Click Instagram
Click the Connect Account Button to login in to your Instagram account to connect it
To link a WhatsApp number to your Instagram account, you must connect your account to your Meta Business Account. If it's not connected, follow the steps below to connect it.
Go to the https://business.facebook.com/settings
Select the Instagram accounts menu option under the Accounts section > Tap + Add button to continue.
Select the checkbox to agree to Instagram's Terms, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. Then, click the "Claim Instagram Account" button to proceed.
You will be redirected to the Instagram login page; log in to your account to complete the connection.
Open your Instagram account, go to your profile and tap the Edit Profile button to continue.
Under Public Business Information, select Contact Options.
Choose WhatsApp Business Phone Number option.
Select your existing WhatsApp number or add a new one. If needed, you can create a new WhatsApp account here.
Tap Send Confirmation Code, then verify your WhatsApp account.
Once verified, your WhatsApp number will appear as a contact option on your Instagram profile.
