# Setup Class Batches

## How to Set Up Class Batches in Whautomate

Class batches in Whautomate allow you to organize groups of participants attending the same class and schedule them efficiently. Follow these steps to create and manage class batches:

#### Steps to Create a Class Batch

#### Important Note

When you assign a batch to a class, all participants included in that batch will automatically be added to the class as participants. This simplifies the process of managing class enrollments.

1. **Access the Settings Menu**
   * Log in to the Whautomate app.
   * Navigate to the **"Settings"** menu option.

2. **Go to Class Batches**
   * Under the **Schedule** section, click on the **"Class Batches"** option.
   * This page displays all your existing class batches.

3. **Create a New Batch**
   * Click the **"Add New Batch"** button to create a new class batch.

4. **Enter Batch Details**
   * Provide a **Batch Name** to identify the class batch. (Eg. Fitness Class)
   * (Optional) Select a **Start Date** and **End Date** if the class batch runs for a specific duration. This helps in managing the class schedule effectively.

5. **Add Participants**
   * Click the **"+Add Participant"** button to include participants in the batch.

* Search for and select the desired clients from the list.
* Click the **"Add"** button to include them in the batch.

6. **Save the Batch**
   * Once all participants are added, click the **"Save"** button to successfully create the class batch.

7. **Test the Batch**
   * Schedule a test class and assign the newly created batch to it. This allows you to verify that all participants are automatically added to the class and that the batch functions as expected.
