In this video we are going to look at how to setup a catalog within Facebook Commerce manager and also with your WhatsApp Cloud API.

How to Create a Product Catalogue and Set it up in Meta: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to https://www.facebook.com/commerce_manager/

Select the Get Started button to continue.

Step 2: Choose the Create a Catalogue option and Select the Get Started button.

Step 3: Select your catalogue type

(i) Select type: Choose the E-commerce option, Select the Online Products option and Click the Next button.

(ii) Configure Settings:

Choose Upload Method:

  • Upload Product: Info Add your items manually or in bulk, or use your Facebook pixel.

  • Connect a partner platform: Automatically import items using a partner platform such as Shopify, BigCommerce and more.

Select a Catalogue owner: Please select the business that is associated with the WhatsApp app.

Catalogue name: Enter the Catalogue name for your reference and Click the "Create" button.

(iii) Finish: Your catalog has been created successfully. Please click on the "View Catalog" button to see it.

Connect your product catalogue with WhatsApp

Step 4: Go to https://business.facebook.com/wa/manage/

Select the Catalog menu option and Connect your previously created catalog here.

Step 5: Go to https://business.facebook.com/settings/

(i) Select the System users menu option, then click the Add Assets button.

(ii) Select the asset type as Catalogues, then select the previously created catalogue name. Next, choose the Full Control option and click on Save Changes.

Step 6: Go back to https://www.facebook.com/commerce_manager/

Select the Items menu option and Click the Add Items button.
